XINGU folds the top of its back forward at both ends into shallow wings, so the sofa half- encloses whoever is sitting in it. Two loose cushions, a soft grey slipcover, and a shape that reads as protective rather than formal.

Every piece leaves the artisan's hands unrepeated. Clay, wood and fiber answer to sun, season and touch, so tone, texture and finish shift softly from one piece to the next. These variations are not imperfections: they are the signature of the hands that made it, proof that no other home holds a piece exactly like yours.
