UCAYALI is an open hardwood frame with two loose cushions resting inside it, one to sit on, one to lean against, neither of them fixed. The structure is visible from every angle, and the whole piece can be stripped back to timber in about a minute.

Every piece leaves the artisan's hands unrepeated. Clay, wood and fiber answer to sun, season and touch, so tone, texture and finish shift softly from one piece to the next. These variations are not imperfections: they are the signature of the hands that made it, proof that no other home holds a piece exactly like yours.
