Tuxpan

A lattice, and a plinth.

TUXPAN sets an open lattice headboard, woven from squared tzalam battens, above a wide, low timber plinth. The pattern filters light and shadow through the day and never quite looks the same twice. Tzalam darkens beautifully with age.

Every piece leaves the artisan's hands unrepeated. Clay, wood and fiber answer to sun, season and touch, so tone, texture and finish shift softly from one piece to the next. These variations are not imperfections: they are the signature of the hands that made it, proof that no other home holds a piece exactly like yours.
