USUMACINTA sets a single caned panel into a solid parota frame and stands it on tapered legs, a modernist idea, made by hand in Mexican hardwood. The grain is left visible and the joinery is left honest. It is a bed that will look better in ten years than it does today.

Every piece leaves the artisan's hands unrepeated. Clay, wood and fiber answer to sun, season and touch, so tone, texture and finish shift softly from one piece to the next. These variations are not imperfections: they are the signature of the hands that made it, proof that no other home holds a piece exactly like yours.
