Leather, low to the ground.

YAQUI wraps a low platform in soft leather and leans two loose leather cushions where the headboard would be. Fine black legs lift it just enough to keep the floor visible. The leather will mark, soften and darken over the years, that is the material doing what it is meant to do.

Every piece leaves the artisan's hands unrepeated. Clay, wood and fiber answer to sun, season and touch, so tone, texture and finish shift softly from one piece to the next. These variations are not imperfections: they are the signature of the hands that made it, proof that no other home holds a piece exactly like yours.
